What I Had For Dinner: Feel Free Not To Care…

Tonight I tried my hand at a vegan recipe for dinner. Tomorrow will be my first all vegan day. (Pending I don’t slip up!) I pushed the starting point forward a bit because I was sick of waiting to start.

Tonight I made seared tempeh with a cherry balsamic reduction sauce. Sounds pretty fancy, doesn’t it?

First I sliced, steamed, then fried the tempeh:

Then wine was added to onions and garlic and left to reduce.

And with a few other magical twists of the wrist! Tada! Dinner!

 

In other news, I wish I was good with food photography. I feel like night time plus brown plates equals dull looking food.

Oh well. Maybe I’ll take a nice naturally lit picture of my breakfast!
