Here are some photos of page three in my journal:
I started with a coat of pink paint over both pages, then arranged old photos I have taken on the page. Then I made the page flow a bit better by using black paint on the background and in some of the pictures. The blue writing was inspired by the story the photos told when placed together.
Here’s a close up of one area on the page.
I added a journal entry then painted over it to blend it in, added “Day 2” and a tarot card (The Five of Wands) which I snatched off of the living room wall. (I have so many cards from an incomplete deck floating around that I like to use them in art projects.
It’s been a long time since I’ve kept a sketchbook/art journal (whatever the heck you want to call it) near me when I sleep. I do that because when it’s time for bed I don’t want to stop thinking about the next page.
It feels good, and I’ve been having fun with it.
The plan is: about a page a day till I’ve taken it as far as I can.

Great page! I never would have guessed that you started with pink, but once you mentioned it, I totally saw it. Thanks for sharing!!
